Two years ago a client asked me if I knew of any scripts which would prevent theft of images. I did know of one which while it didn’t completely prevent theft did slow down any would be thieves. It’s a simple script which is installed in the header.php file.
The right mouse disable script is easy to install and once it’s installed you don’t have to worry about it conflicting with any other scripts. The message is customizable too.

The answer to photo theft is “PicProtect”. It prevents web visitors from stealing (copying, extracting, Print Screening, etc.) photo’s that are presented on your site. The code does not interfere with the standard functioning of a webpage.
